LC aka Metro Beatz has been rockin’ turntables for over 25 years. He got his start in Lawrence, Massachusetts by djing block parties and began creating “Music Of Class” mixtapes. When he was a teenager, he moved to Greensboro, North Carolina where he played house parties and produced local acts. LC eventually relocated to Atlanta, Georgia but continued producing his series of mixtapes, which were distributed in several markets.He has worked in just about every aspect of the business from the Atlanta and Raleigh, North Carolina club circuits to radio (WQMG and WNAA in Greensboro)(Hot 105-Miami), record distribution, and retail promotion for Tommy Boy Records. Nowadays, LC keeps busy working on remixes, producing acts for MOC Productions, and heading the Urban/Rhythmic radio division for Clear Channel’s Mediabase in Los Angeles, California.
